 Dying Soldier:

If you haven't heard of the soldier in the back alley yet, here's how you get to him. First of all, you must find the Three Spiritual Stones. DO NOT go into the temple of time just yet or else this won't work. Go to the back alley in Hyrule Castle Town, and look through until you find a dying soldier propped up against the walls. Here is what he says:

Unnngh... are you the boy from the forest? I-I-I have something to tell you... Ganondorf, the Gerudo King of Thieves, betrayed our King... Zelda's nanny, Impa, sensed danger and escaped from the castle with our Princess... the Princess was... waiting for a boy from the forest... that's you... She wanted to give something to the boy... If you received it from the Princess, hurry... to the Temple of Time...”

He then takes his last breath and dies. You cannot speak to him again and he will disappear once you go to the Temple of Time (Whether you spoke to him or not).

Cool Easter Eggs:

Mario Window Pictures: Go to the castle where Zelda is met for the first time. Look closely at the windows as you enter. Pictures of Yoshi, Princess Toadstool, Mario, Bowser and Luigi can be seen. Throw something into the window with Mario on it to receive 20 rupees. Throwing something into the other windows will result in a lit bomb being thrown back at Link.

Moss Pictures: At Link's house, look at the tree root to the left of the ladder going up to Link's house (looking from the ground, not the porch). It is depicting Adult Link battling Ganon (I think. It could just be some man fighting a dinosaur).

Only Available in 3DS Version: Skyward Sword, Majora's Mask and Mario references:

The first is behind a box in the Gerudo Fortress. You have to roll into the boxes to smash them, It is in one of the open rooms with a table on the west side of the fortress.

The second is on the floor against a dresser in the upstairs bedroom in Lon Lon Ranch. You can only see it as an adult (when you're a kid, it shows a drawing of Malon and Talon).

There is a third piece of Skyward Sword art in the bomb shop in the Hyrule Castle Town back alleys. When you're talking to the man behind the counter, after he asks yo what you want, look at the bombchus on the left. Beside it you can see the picture. You can only access this shop at night when you're a child.

Also, in the Happy Mask Shop there are two references to Majora's Mask. Look behind the Happy Mask Salesman's shoulder. It is the bag he used to sell masks in Majora's Mask (without the masks).

The second one isn't of as much importance, but it still makes for a nice Easter Egg. Have a look around at the mask decorating the shop's sides. They're all from the Happy Mask Salesman's travel bag!

There is also a Mario mask behind the mirror in the shop. Hard to see, and my friend and I argue if it IS Mario, but while you're in the shop you should still try to see it.

mitch: the friend is not me
